At FSI, we know that behind every working mother is a daily balance of responsibilities, care, and commitment that deserves to be recognized and supported.

This Mother’s Day, we’re reflecting on the experiences of the moms across our team who continue to show up for their families and their careers with strength and dedication. From flexibility and understanding to a culture built on support, FSI is proud to foster an environment where working mothers feel valued both professionally and personally.

Today, we celebrate the incredible women who make an impact in the workplace and at home every single day.

We asked several of the mothers at FSI to share their experiences balancing work and family life, along with the ways a supportive workplace culture has made a difference in their everyday lives.

“One of the things my daughter enjoys most about FSI is the Christmas parties. She loves getting to visit fun places and, of course, the presents she gets. It reflects what I appreciate most about FSI as a company: it’s very supportive and family-oriented, with a genuine understanding that there’s more to life than just work.

Outside of work, we love spending time together at outdoor playgrounds, the library, or watching movies.

My favorite part about being a mom is watching her grow into her own person. It’s amazing how much personality can fit into such a tiny body.”

“One of the things I enjoy most about parenting would be rewatching old movies with my kids as they see them for the first time.

I think I have unofficially become their classic movie tour guide. Sometimes I hear, “Mom, I don’t think that movie was as good as you remember it.” But other times, my movie pick will get a 5-star rating which makes it all worth it!”

“I love being a mom—it’s one of the most rewarding gifts, getting to experience life again through my child’s eyes.

After work, we enjoy the simple pleasures together like reading, showing affection, going for walks, riding our bikes, visiting museums, and spending quality time with one another.”

“One of the things I love most about FSI is how it creates opportunities to include our families. FSI truly understands that family comes first.

With our children getting older, I've learned to really appreciate the time we do get together. Sometimes it's just enjoying the simple things, but my favorite part of being a mom is watching my children grow into the people they're meant to be. It's amazing to see their personalities, their strengths, and the choices they're making as they find their own paths.

Being their mom has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life, and it continues to be, as they get older.”
