The EPA’s SNAP program considers factors such as ozone depletion potential, global warming potential, toxicity, flammability, health and safety, and broader environmental effects.

Because Ecomate® has been positioned as a low-impact alternative for foam applications, it continues to offer manufacturers a proven option as the industry moves away from higher-impact legacy blowing agents and adapts to changing compliance expectations. EPA resources also continue to maintain public tables of acceptable and unacceptable substitutes for foam blowing agents.
