Foam insulation for exterior facing components from FSI provides superior performance, opening new doors for manufacturers to make more innovative and efficient consumer and commercial parts.

Polyurethane foam insulation for Garage & Entry Doors

Polyurethane Foam Insulation Manufacturers for Garage Door Foam Insulation

We provide versatile pour-in-place foam solutions for both continuous and discontinuous garage door manufacturing.

Ecofoam® for discontinuous garage door manufacturing features R-values at 1” up to 8.2” for garage and entry doors. Our insulation product vastly outperforms EPS and XPS insulation, with R-values topping out at 4.3” and 5.0”, respectively.

Conti-foam™ rigid foam is formulated for continuous double-belt lamination manufacturing, enabling rapid line speeds across a range of insulation panel thicknesses.

Compared to non-adhesive insulation boards, our foam provides superior adhesion, bonding to the door’s frame as it expands to provide greater stability and thermal performance.

FSI’s foam systems offer excellent flowability and consistent density distribution, leading to more consistent, defect-free manufacturing. Robust processing capabilities enable manufacturers to easily change over to Ecofoam® and Conti-foam™ in a wide variety of applications while improving overall cycle time.

Ecofoam® and Conti-foam™ are blown with Ecomate® blowing agent, a zero-GWP formula that meets the most stringent environmental regulations, including California SB1013. They also require no Prop 65 labeling.

Foam systems blown with Ecomate® technology offer an easy transition from HFC systems compared to other fourth-generation blowing agents. No permits or explosion proofing is required before an operation transitioning to Ecomate®-blown foam products.

Industrial strength polyurethane adhesives

Our FoamNail® two-part adhesive and OnePart™ moisture-cure adhesive provide excellent mechanical performance that withstands the stress of heavy use.

Polyurethane adhesives form an initial bond before curing and boast fast cure times, which can shorten project schedules. Foam Supplies can customize adhesive cure speed to best match your exact materials.

OnePart™ adhesive offers high performance at a lower cost than traditional tube and caulk, and all of our adhesives are formulated for longer shelf life. Adhesives from Foam Supplies enable manufacturers to reduce costs and maximize inventory.

FoamNail® and OnePart™ are VOC-exempt, formaldehyde-free, and do not contribute to global warming or ozone depletion.

Unmatched Regulatory Compliance

Because it is environmentally benign, Ecomate complies with all current — and most likely all future — regulations pertaining to foam blowing agents. As additional HFCs and other harmful materials are phased out, Ecomate will continue to be the reliable and affordable solution for foam blowing applications. Current regulatory compliance includes:

  • U.S EPA SNAP Program
  • Montreal Protocol
  • Kyoto Protocol
  • Kyoto ROHS Protocol (Restriction of Hazardous Substances)
  • WEEE Directed (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
  • GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe)
  • REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization)
  • EPA SNAP Approved
