HVAC Foam Insulation

As HVAC system efficiency requirements have strengthened, manufacturers are increasingly turning to rigid polyurethane foam systems that outperform traditional fiberglass insulation. FSI provides pour-in-place and spray polyurethane foam (SPF) for production of insulated louvers and air handler panels with technology backed by nearly five decades of field experience.

Superior HVAC Foam Insulation Systems

FSI’s Ecofoam® offers R-values up to 8.2 at 1”. These outperform traditional methods (maximum R-value = 3.8) enabling manufacturers to achieve greater thermal efficiency using less material.

Our rigid polyurethane systems demonstrate excellent adhesion to metal substrates, supporting sheet metal walls without internal beams or bracings. Added structural integrity without added materials results in lower unit cost and weight.

Ecofoam® pour-in-place system from FSI features excellent flowability, better density distribution, excellent dimensional stability and fast cure times. The result is faster, more consistent HVAC manufacturing.

Ecofoam® meets the fire testing requirements of UL-94 ensuring your systems are safe and reliable while meeting the industry standards for fire safety, and ultimately enhancing facility safety.

Our Ecofoam® system is made with zero-GWP Ecomate® blowing agent technologymeeting the most stringent environmental regulations, including California SB1013. They require no Prop 65 labeling and are RoHS 2/3 and REACH SVHC compliant.

FSI’s global production and distribution network offers flexible delivery in totes, drums, pressurized cylinders or in bulk according to your needs.
