Insulation is vital to countless high- and low-temperature process and mechanical piping applications including oil and gas refining, food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing and heating and cooling. FSI offers pour-in-place and spray polyurethane foam systems that protect workers, preserve process temperatures, prevent corrosion and enhance fire safety.
Insulated Pipes
Excellent thermal performance for pipe insulation
Our polyurethane foam systems perform in service temperatures from -62°C to 93°C (-80°F to 200°F), protecting workers and stabilizing process temperatures ranging from high-temp oil refining to low-temp sanitary food and beverage processing.
Ecofoam® pour-in-place foam exhibits excellent flowability, superior adhesion and consistent density distribution to ensure high performance of insulation that’s faster, easier and more consistent to apply.
Ecofoam® meets NFPA Class 1 flammability ratings for oil and gas applications.
Our polyurethane foam systems feature rapid demold times resulting in speedier insulation projects that reduce costly downtime.
Our pour-in-place foam insulation systems are blown with Ecomate® blowing agent, a zero-GWP formula meeting the most stringent environmental regulations, including California SB1013. It requires no Prop 65 labeling. Products not made with Ecomate® (those not containing the “Eco-” prefix) are water-blown systems and comply with all environmental standards.
FSI’s global production and distribution network offers flexible delivery in totes, drums, pressurized cylinders or in bulk according to your needs.

Unmatched Regulatory Compliance
Because it is environmentally benign, Ecomate complies with all current — and most likely all future — regulations pertaining to foam blowing agents. As additional HFCs and other harmful materials are phased out, Ecomate will continue to be the reliable and affordable solution for foam blowing applications. Current regulatory compliance includes:
