The modern cold chain has evolved as stakeholders from point of origin to final destination have demanded refrigerated transport solutions that protect perishable product freshness while lowering the environmental effect of transportation.

High-performance rigid pour-in-place foam
Ecofoam® pour-in-place solutions feature R-values at 1” of up to 8.2, providing better, more precise climate control compared to traditional insulating materials like EPS and XPS (with R-values of 4.3 and 5.0, respectively). SPF formulas feature R-values up to 7.0, depending on the specific formulation.
Because Ecofoam® and spray foam products boast higher thermal efficiency, manufacturers can achieve ideal insulation performance with less foam, lowering overall vehicle weight and improving fuel efficiency.
The products exhibit excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates and dimensional stability to enhance structural integrity and withstand the duress of transportation, loading and unloading.
With good flowability and consistent distribution patterns even in irregular spaces, cavities and structures, manufacturing with Ecofoam® yields more reliable results.
Ecofoam® and our spray foam products are blown with Ecomate® blowing agent, a zero-GWP formula meeting the most stringent environmental regulations, including California SB1013. It requires no Prop 65 labeling.
Foam systems blown with Ecomate® technology offer easy transition from HFC systems compared to other fourth-generation blowing agents. No permits or explosion proofing is required before transitioning to Ecomate®-blown foam products.
FSI’s global production and distribution network offers flexible delivery in totes, drums, pressurized cylinders or in bulk according to your needs.
